Nemesio Cundangan was born in Bulacan, Philippines on Oct 27, 1926 to Teodoro and Tasie Cundangan. He was the seventh child of nine. He had five brothers and three sisters, all of whom preceded him into the arms of the Lord. He met Petra Acuna in 1948 and they were married on May 16, 1949. They were married for 66 years. They had 11 children, Herminio, Emelinda, Edgardo, Ruben, Romeo, Amalia, Adelia, Eliza, Elenita, Maria Teresa, and Nemesio Jr. Nemesio learned to be a mechanic through experience he gained working at his father’s horse shoeing business. He worked as a mechanic his whole life specializing on diesel trucks. He could tell what was wrong with an engine just by the sound. He immigrated to the United States in Sept 1987. Nemesio and Petra lived in Guam, California, and Las Vegas. He always enjoyed working on cars and gardening. He spent the last decade pursuing his hobbies. He loved babysitting his grandchildren. He had 26 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. He enjoyed eating, visiting with friends, and watching action movies. He was 88 years old. He will be deeply missed by all his children.
