Alvin Russell Watson
Alvin Russell Watson, 68, of Reno, Nevada passed away April 27, 2015. Alvin was born in Spanish Fork, Utah on August 22, 1946 to the parents of Earl Watson and Alice Caine.
Alvin worked for the North Las Vegas Housing Authority in Las Vegas, NV for many years assisting those in need and finished his career as the Executive Director with the Richland Housing Authority in Richland, WA .
Alvin loved everybody and had the heart of gold. He was always helping those in need.
Alvin truly loved to fish, camp, dance, and especially loved being with his kids and grandkids; Alvin R. Watson is survived by his wife Gloria Watson, children: Tina Mitchell, Bryan Watson (Yvonne Watson), Traci McGee, Sam Perkins (April Perkins) and Kristie Balderrama (Steve Balderrama).
Grandchildren: Christina Lopez (Jose Lopez), Jessica Watson, Ryan Watson, Amber Pyle, Arieshia Watson, Molly Watson, Bryan Watson Jr., Jasmine McGee, Sierra Perkins and Josiah J. Perkins and great Grandchild: Zander Lopez and his brothers Clive Watson, Darrell Watson, Jean Watson and Norman Jones including many nieces and nephews.
Alvin joined his father Earl Watson, Mother, Alice Caine, Sister, Arlene Zwahlen, brother Gordon Jones and Uncle Joseph Mercer.
A viewing will be held at La Paloma Funeral Services at 5301 Longley Lane Bldg. E. Ste 180 Reno, NV 89511 Ph: (775)-827-3700 at 11:00 am. The services will be held after the viewing at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to go to the American Kidney Association, American Cancer Association or American Diabetic Association.
I miss you so much daddy….You looked so handsome today. I hope that you are having a great time in heaven making you way to see all your loved ones. You lived a short life,I know that you have had a great life but we wanted you to stay, I know that you were in pain and I just wanted to let you know that I love you and will miss you forever!
