Benjamin Michael Labee V “DJ Ben LaVee”
Benjamin Michael Labee V “DJ Ben LaVee” passed away Aug 20, 2012 in a tragic car accident. Born Oct 16, 1980 Ben’s time with us was too short, but his life was lived full. His smile, kind eyes, contagious laugh, & charisma could brighten up any room. He touched everyone’s heart that he came into contact with. Our lives were blessed with his very existence. With Ben’s unexpected passing his message left behind is, “We must make the most out of everyday because tomorrow is never promised. Hug & kiss your spouse, love your children, spend time with your loved ones, & make memories that will last a lifetime.” He was a wonderful husband & father. His life ended in tragedy but the story of his life was a Fairy Tale. He was “Prince Charming” to his wife & “Super Dad” to his kids. Ben dedicated his life to bringing joy & love to his children, Alexandra(8) & Benjamin(6). He always said they were his reason for living. He always thought of his family first with continuous selfless acts of love & kindness. His passions were fatherhood & music.
He was a talented DJ. Everyone that heard him play fell in love. The Las Vegas clubs & Monster Supercross shows will not sound the same. He was a member of “SuperSquare” a producing group of electronica music other members are Alex and Jimmy Esquivel. “Anywhere Everywhere” & “I Believe in our Love” were their latest songs. They contain a piece of his heart that he was going to share with the world (supersquare.com). His legacy will be continued through their music.
He will live forever in our hearts & will be missed & loved by many especially, Grandmother Margaret Thomas, wife Shauna, beloved children Alexandra & Benjamin, brothers: Maty, Tish, Ti & BMR, sisters: Donna, Monica, Noi, & Paula, John & Kim Stevens, nephew Ratissa & niece Summer, the entire Voorhees & Labee Family & countless friends.

RIP brother. Thanks for all the dj tips. Peace
To The Family:
I am sorry for your loss, losing a loved one is hard to deal with but especially so with one so young. May the Bible’s message of a resurrection to life on a peaceful earth give you a measure of comfort and hope at this most difficult of times (Acts 24:15, Rev 21:4, Psalm 37:11)
We can all look forward to a time in the near future when almighty God will return family members to us just as Jesus demonstrated when he returned Lazarus and others to their families. Please accept my sincere condolences.
