Berend Dirk de Leeuw

After a long battle with illness, Berend (Bert) Dirk de Leeuw lost his battle on April 20.  He was born on March 5th 1957 in Heneglo The Netherlands. A resident for 22 years. His wife, Gale his 3 step children, David, Kristel, Melissa, his seven grandchildren: Bryen, Tristan, Aidan, Riley, Kayden, Aubree and Preston, late brother Renee, 2 nephews and 1 niece survive him. Bert enjoyed all things sports and everything his grandchildren were involved in most of all. He lived to help other and be a positive light for his costumers throughout his career at Sports Chalet and Dicks Sporting goods as well as on the soccer field through his coaching. Services will be held on May 5th at lapaloma 5450 Stephanie St. Las Vegas NV 89122 at 5pm.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to Genesis Hospice Care.
