Beverly Frances Germann
Beverly Frances (Jones) Germann passed away at the Las Ventanas Skilled Nursing Facility on July 9,
2017. She was born in Santa Monica, California on August 8, 1944 to Darrell A. and Frances Jones.
She was raised in the communities of Van Nuys and Northridge in the San Fernando valley and
graduated from Bishop Alemany Catholic High School. She worked for the Defense Department as a
Transportation Specialist before marrying her husband of 45 years, Anthony Germann.
Beverly and Anthony were a military family and were blessed with two children, Liesl Kay and Wade
Anthony while living in Germany. Beverly became a housewife and devoted herself to raising and
educating her family. She worked in the Catholic elementary school in Illinois and was active in the
library of the school in Virginia. She worked diligently in the parent/teacher organization of her son’s
high school and supported her daughter’s rowing team. During these years, she became an active
gardener and was awarded a Master Gardener honor from Virginia Tech. She also learned the art of
quilting and produced several quilts of her own design. Beverly and Anthony traveled often and finally
settled in Las Vegas in 2012.
Beverly has been a loving wife and mother who devoted herself to her family and the betterment of her
surroundings. Her sense of humor and caring for people will be sorely missed, and we all pray that
God’s love and protection will be with her always.
