Charlene Cruze
Charlene Cruze, 72, of Las Vegas, died on March 6, 2014. Born Sept. 19th, 1941, Las Vegas.
Part of LDS, DAR, and DUP. She was tour guide; spiritual counselor, art, calligraphy, music teacher. She was also part Cherokee/Algonquin & in Nevada, Elder for the Kaweah Nation. Achievements included Tour Guide of the Decade, Nev. St. Literary Award, American Mothers Assoc. of Nev., National Music Teachers Assoc., Co-Chair of Nev. Women’s History Project, Amer. School of Japanese Arts, Women of Achievement finalist in Arts, Golden Gleaner Award., Old Spanish Trail Assoc., Nat. League of Penwomen, Amer. Soc. Dowsers, Friends of Red Rock, UNLV Instructor, & 631 Teamster.
Pre-deceased by son Thomas J Kerr. Char was survived by daughters Teri Kerr-Morgan (James Green), and Jenny Hanson (Rick Hanson), son David Kerr (Linda Kerr), 4 grand -children: 2 great-grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren.
