Conrad Lee Villella

conrad-photoConrad Lee Villella of Las Vegas, formerly of Minnesota passed away of natural causes at the age of 78 on September 22, 2016. Preceded in death by wife Marilyn Welle, siblings Edward Villella and Carrie Lemieux. Survived by siblings Bill Villella, Ronald Villella, Denis Villella, and Edell Dahling; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, children Renee Villella (Jesse Hauan), Lee Ann Villella (John Watters) and Leslie Guiley (Keith Guiley); grandchildren Maxwell Hauan and JT Guiley; and special friend Larissa Dolary.

Conrad was born October 5th, 1937 in Minneapolis. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and was a United States Navy Commander. He worked at General Mills, IBM and in real estate. He founded Highpoint Education Center, devoted to helping those dealing with cancer.

Conrad was a proud member of the Italian-American Club, he loved oil painting and often signed them Corrado, loved to visit San Francisco, museums, and living life to the fullest. He was a co-founder of FIORE (Fun Italians organizing ridiculous events) in Las Vegas. He always tried to focus on the positive things in life and uplift others.

No funeral service will be held at his request. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to an educational fund for his grandchildren. Donations may be sent to Lee Ann Villella. Please email corradomemorial@gmail.com for details.
