Daniel Meyerson was born in New York on April 29th 1923 and passed away from complications from surgery on May 17th 2016. He served in the military and was stationed in India in the Engineer Core until 1946. He was married to Helen, the love of his life on May 29, 1947.
He worked in the jewelry business as a production supervisor in New York. While living in New York he studied Voice, music, and cantorial. He continued with these studies at the Hebrew Union College after moving to Los Angeles, California and became a cantor in synagogues first in Highland Park and then Gardena. Anyone privileged to hear him sing will never forget his magnificent voice.
He was always kind to everyone he met, and a true gentleman.
He is survived by his wife of almost 69 years, his daughter Karen Relkoff, son-in-law Brian, their sons Aaron and Brandon, his daughter Susan Heath, son- in-law Martin and their daughter Chava, as well as 6 great grandchildren.
