DeVola Millett Wharton

DeVolaOur precious mother, DeVola Wharton returned home to her Heavenly Father on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 2:10 a.m. Born September 6, 1929 in Cedar City, Utah. She married William Thomas Wharton in Las Vegas, Nevada, December 8, 1946. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Freeman, Sarah (Ryan/LaManna) Johnson, and Dottie (Dorothy) Peckman, a brother David (Jerry) Millett of Enoch, Utah and sister, Carol (Elwynn ) Rowley of Parowan, Utah, a sister-in law, Ann Wharton of Littlefield, AZ, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, her son, Clinton, her parents, Zealot and Venona (Stout) Millett, a granddaughter, Renee, a great-granddaughter, Serenity, and siblings, Dorothy, Keith, Veryl, Richard and Evan Millett.
Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Church of Latter Day Saints Gateway Church located at 4040 East Wyoming Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89104. There will be a viewing at 9:00 a.m. with services to follow at 10:00 a.m. The burial will be held at Bunkers Eden Vale Cemetery located at 1216 North Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
