Donald Ray Cook

Donald Ray Cook, 81, passed away on 29 August, 2012, in Las Vegas with family surrounding him. A proud military veteran who served 21 years in the US Air Force, including a tour in Vietnam.

Don loved to fly, take cruises to places he has never been before, and was a devoted Cadillac man. He was born 04-29-1931, in Flint Michigan.

After numerous military tours he moved to Rohnert Park, Ca in 1959. He was one the first residents of then the small little town of Rohnert Park, where he played an instrumental role in the development of this city. In 2001, he moved to Las Vegas NV, so he could be close to family and friends and to enjoy a bet or two at his favorite game, video poker. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Reta Cook of 30 years; three sons; three stepsons; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the La Paloma Funeral Home, on the 8th of September at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the www.alzheimers.org.
