Donna Lynn Mattox

November 11, 1965 to February 8th, 2023

Donna Lynn Mattox was a treasured grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, girlfriend, and friend. Tragically, Donna passed away suddenly on February 8th, 2023 after a brief battle with illness. It is impossible to express in so few words how much Donna accomplished in her life and what she meant to those who were in her life. Donna was a retired Metro Dispatcher and was enjoying retirement by spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included all things Golden Knights, bingo, taking care of the neighborhood cats, and shopping. Donna loved to have fun- her laughter and giggles were contagious.

Donna was an innate caregiver, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own. If you needed her, she was there. Even if she thought you might need her, she was there. If she loved you, you knew it every day in both her words and her actions. We can all take comfort knowing that Donna will live on in the heart of every person that knew her. Her kindness and selflessness knew no limits when it came to family and friends. To honor her memory, please consider how you might make someone else smile today- something she continually did for those who were blessed enough to have her in their life.

  • Donna was a beautiful spirit. In the time I was privileged to spend with her, she brightened my tough days always making me laugh. The excitement she shared at the VGK and Silver Night games and watch game I will always remember. She will always be with us! My thoughts and prayers go out to he family and friends. Truly a great loss for all that knew her….💕

Donna was special to our family. We did not see her often, but when we did visit, she was a joy. Rest in peace dear Donna
