Dora Ramos

After many years of fighting Congestive Heart Failure & Severe Aortic Stenosis, Dora Ramos (Born April 10, 1934) may now rest in peace as of May 19, 2015.

Her survivors include: Grandchildren; Amanda Martinez,Dora Martinez, Armando Martinez & Jose Barragan. Great Grandchildren; Angel Martinez, Ricky Iniguez, Alex Martinez, Lisa Martinez & Christian Ceja. Son’s; Frank Flores, Manuel Flores, Richard Ramos & John Ramos. Brothers; Margo Ramos, Sotero Ramos & John Ramos.

Dora’s first love was spending every day with her grandchildren, she would call them her “Grand Babies”. Dora’s activities included, going to the movies, bbqing, shopping, dinning and spoiling her Grand Babies any way she could. Then when it was time for some adult fun, we knew it meant, “It’s time for the Casino!” And there we would go to play a few slot machines. Dora was always very lucky. One thing is for sure, we must never forget Dora’s willingness to help everyone. No matter what their past contained, Dora would always lend a hand and open doors. Dora had a saying, “Where One eats, Ten eat”.

In Dora’s final months, her biggest wishes were granted. Dora asked to see her family one last time in Yakima, WA where we celebrated her 81st Birthday. Then for Mothers Day, we took Dora to see Virginia City and their beautiful church, ending the day with a memorable family picture and BBQ. Dora left this world surrounded by all of her Grandchildren and as she wished, she was “Never alone”. We will forever miss our strong willed Grandma with a heart of gold.

Burial will be held in Washington at the Wapato Cemetery on Monday June 8, 2015 at 1:00pm.

Immediately followed by a reception to celebrate the life of our Beloved “Grandmother”. Eulogy will be given by son in-law Carlos Ceja “As she wished”.
