Edward Woodrow Vance II “Bubba”

bubbaIn loving memory of our beloved Edward Woodrow Vance II “Bubba”. He ended his brief battle with cancer on August 27,2013. Bubba was born on January 18,1961. A native of Las Vegas, he graduated form Western high school class of ’79. A teamster with local 631 for 28 years, he enjoyed working alongside his family and friends at the convention centers. Bubba is survived by his wife Deborah Vance; parents Edward and Virginia Vance; brother Daryl Vance and sister in law Kathy Vance; sisters Lydia Vance and Paula Elms, brother in law Rodger Elms; sons Edward Vance III and Bradley Vance; daughter in laws Jennifer Vance and Isabel Carr; and granddaughters D’Vyne Vance, Destiny Vance, Delila Vance, Marilyn Williams, and Rosalie Vance. He joins his brother Adam Vance in the heavens above.

Bubba enjoyed being raised on a farm, he loved taking care of the animals and his brothers and sisters. Bubba was at peace in the great outdoors hiking, fishing, riding on a four wheeler or horses, shooting rifles, camping and taking the boat out on Lake Mead. He liked taking vacations to California at the beach and Disneyland. His favorite ride was Pirates of the Caribbean. He was a good student, popular among his peers and belonged to a horse riding club at school. Bubba married his high school sweetheart Deborah, they shared a blessed life together for 32 years. Bubba surrounded himself with a very large and loving family. He was always there for you when in need of guidance, patience, and understanding. Bubba will greatly be missed by all who knew him.
