Gary Wayne Tenyer

Las Vegas NV. – Gary Wayne Tenyer, 72 passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2023. Gary was born to Robert (Bob) and Willabelle Tenyer on September 22, 1950. He grew up in Fair Haven Michigan and graduated from Marine City High School class of 1969. Shortly after graduation, Gary was drafted into the United States Army and deployed to Vietnam. After returning to the States, he relocated to California and then returned to Michigan in the mid 70’s. Gary worked in the construction industry specializing in concrete, masonry, and stone. Gary created beautiful stone structures for his mother that remain on the property of his childhood home in Michigan. Gary left Michigan in the mid 80’s and spent the remainder of his life in Las Vegas. Gary enjoyed several visits from his nieces, Jennifer McDonald, and Shawna Tenyer. Jennifer returned several times in recent years, and they enjoyed sharing stories (old and new) while dining on a “Vegas” size steak.

Gary is survived by his mother, Willabelle Tenyer, brothers Larry, Joe, and Randy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as his friend of many years, Charlie Revering.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Robert (Bob) Tenyer and brother Thomas (Tommy) Tenyer.

A military service will be held at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Michigan. Arrangements pending.
