Gloria Elena Landeros
Gloria Elena Landeros, 61, passed away peacefully at home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2021. She was born on May 15, 1960 in Tijuana, Mexico. Gloria is one of nine children born to Pablo (deceased) and Amelia Landeros. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Denice Elena; son in law Elvis Sr.; grandchildren Ailema, Elvis Jr.; her mother Amelia, brother Paul, sister Rosalinda, sister Martha, sister Anita, sister Amelia, sister Jasmine, sister Dianne, sister Jackie and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Gloria earned her high school and Data Processing Diploma from Southern Nevada Vocational Technical Center in 1978 and worked for DeLuca Beverage as a senior level accounting analyst for 30 years until she retired. Gloria was a serving member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church. Gloria was especially proud when she received her United States Citizenship.
Gloria is remembered most for her zeal for shopping, enjoying a savory Jerry’s Nugget Prime Rib dinner with family/friends, watching fireworks at Lorenzi Park with her dad and siblings, Saturday trips to Lake Mead with siblings, barefoot walks along California beach shorelines, and enjoying delicious mangos. In fact, she would often say “I could eat a mango every day for the rest of my life I would be happy”! She adored watching her grandchildren play and grow and loved their family game nights playing checkers and Mexican Train. She especially enjoyed family holiday and birthday gatherings with a good competitive game of Loteria.
Gloria will especially be remembered for her big heart (physically and emotionally), generosity, kindness, noble character, caring spirit, and humble spirit. Her shinning smile and original laugh and big round hazel eyes will live forever in our hearts. We love you, Gloria and will be with you one day!
