Harold G. Ashley
Harold G. Ashley of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was born June 2,1937, to Ruth and Ezra Ashley in Liberty, Kentucky and was a 43 year resident of Las Vegas. Harold served in the U.S. Army with service in Panama and Germany. He also worked for Boeing in Seattle, Washington, The Geary Company in Las Vegas and retired as a Master Sargent after serving 30 years in the National Guard in Seattle and Las Vegas. He was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Harold always had a big heart and would do what he could to help his family and friends. He was an ace handyman and could fix about anything. He was well known for his expertise in house painting and decorating for the holidays. He has even won neighborhood awards for best holiday decorating. He loved watching golf and his Dallas Cowboys. His parents and his daughter Susan preceded Harold in death. Harold is survived by his wife of 53 years Jackie, his siblings Carroll, Joaline, Robert, Pauline, Rutheda and Gerald, daughters Teri(Jim) Sissy and Kathy , sons Jeff(Anne) and Will, son-in- law Gary, grandchildren Sean, Tyler, Kristin, Ryan, Jason, Missi and Susan, great
grandchildren, Briella, Jaxson, Lily, Jade and Maverick. Services and interment will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV on Thursday, October 19 at 11:20 am.
