Helen Apablaza, 81, peacefully passed away June 18, 2019, at Mountain View Hospital. Helen was born in Frankfurt, Germany, November 11, 1937; she moved to the United States at the age of 10. She was an advocate for the homeless, raised her two daughters, and helped raise her grandchildren. Helen would give anything she had to someone who needed it. Her feisty personality was loved and admired by so many. She always stood up for what was right and fought for what she believed in. She was a tough woman and her strength lives on through the impact and impression she emanated on others. She is survived by her two daughters, Carrie Apablaza, Stacey Chorn, son in law, Scott Chorn. Three grandchildren, Leticia Apablaza, DJ Paule, Stacy Apablaza, and three great grandchildren, Caleb Paule, Caden Paule, and Cruze Paule.
She graciously donated her body to science.
