Help for Families

At La Paloma Funeral Services, we are committed to helping our families before, during and after a loss. Experts describe the process of grieving and the emotions of grief in various ways.

The most commonly described reactions are:
Shock | Denial | Anger | Guilt | Depression | Acceptance and Growth

Some people experience the grieving process in this order. Most often, a person feels several of these emotions at the same time, perhaps at different degrees. Attending a support group, can help connect you with others who are experiencing or have gone through all of these reactions and emotions and can provide some insight and comfort.

Please join us for the Grief Support Group at La Paloma Funeral Services, the first Tuesday of every month. We will be providing light refreshments and, hopefully, some helpful information and connections with others.

First Tuesday of every month
