James “Jay” Oliphant

James “Jay” Oliphant died suddenly on 6/5/21. He was born September 17, 1975 to loving parents Mary and James in Toledo, Ohio. He grew up there and after meeting his future wife moved to Georgia for a few years before settling in Las Vegas. He was a dedicated truck driver for over 20 years.

His greatest passion in life was family. His kids brought him pride and joy. His favorites also included his wife’s homemade meals along with beach vacations and family game night even though he could never win a game of uno. He also not only enjoyed listening to music but also writing and producing his own original songs.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years Christina. Three beautiful children, Jalen 16, Jacob 8, and Phoenix 5. His Mother Mary, Father James, and sister Cinnamon. Grandmother Ellen, Aunt Rose , uncles and cousins.

He was loved by everyone and his laugh and smile will be missed tremendously. Our hearts are broken but the memories and joy you brought us will help fill in the shattered pieces. We love you Honey Buns , rest easy until we meet again.
