Jamie Lynne Pollman

Our beautiful daughter, mother and sister, Jamie Lynne Pollman, passed away on April 3, 2018, after a battle with cancer. She was born in Reno, May 16, 1966. Jamie loved fishing, whether it was the Truckee River or in Canada (where she kept telling us she wished she could be a guide.) She would sit down and talk to you about anything, whether it was to calm you down or cheer you up. Jamie enjoyed meditating, spending time with family, and loved life as a whole.
Jamie is survived by her mother and stepfather, Ramona and Bohm Townsend; her sister, Shelli Kae Pollman; and the light of her life, her son, Joshua Paul Boyce. Also surviving her is her companion for many years and father of Joshua, Robert Boyce; stepsons, Jacob and Joseph; stepsisters, Andrea (Lyle) Kuenzi and Amber (Kyle) Riesterer; aunt, Pat Pollman; uncle, Skip Pollman; uncle, Jim (Jane) Hunter; as well as many loving cousins and cherished friends. Jamie was preceded in death by her father, Richard Pollman and aunt, Karen Hunter.
We love Jamie so much and know that she is watching over us. If we could talk to her one more time, she would tell us not to worry because she will always be in our hearts and, as she would say, “Don’t worry your little head about a thing” and “I’ll be there the whole way.”
There will be a celebration of life at Hidden Valley Country Club on May 20, 2018 from 1pm-3pm.
