Jeffrey Tyrone Neason

On November 13, 2019 Jeffrey Tyrone Neason, beloved son of Arlis and Richard Neason passed away unexpectedly. Jeffrey enjoyed spending time with friends watching baseball (Cubs fan) and basketball games and attending Golden Knights hockey viewing Parties.

A great day would be having a meal with his parents or friends at a local buffet, visiting with the servers, and then taking in a movie. Enjoying the California beaches on his way to visit his aunt and uncle in Oregon, brought him happiness. Travelling to the Chicago area during April 2019, to connect with childhood friends was a real highlight in his life. Following that visit, he traveled to Traverse City, Michigan (his father’s birthplace). He toured the one room schoolhouse that his father attended for kindergarten through second grade. Today, that schoolhouse is the “Peninsula Cellars” winery, a tourist attraction. He was happy to be part of his family’s history in beautiful Traverse City and overjoyed when asked to pose for a picture to be placed on the wall with his father’s class at the old schoolhouse – winery.  Spending time to find the perfect Christmas gifts to donate to needy children defined his character. He was joyful when he knew that he helped disadvantaged children have some Christmas toys under their tree. Jeffrey will live and be loved in our hearts and minds forever.

I’m so saddened by the passing of Jeffrey. I remember seeing him for the 1st time when he was a baby. May you find comfort in the memories you made with Jeffrey.
