Jekhia Brown Obituary (2002 - 2022)

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our sweet Jekhia Brown. Jekhia Charnai Brown and her twin sister were born July 15th, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Dawn Celease Brown (White) and Nathaniel Alexander Mobley. Jekhia passed away suddenly on February 21, 2022 leaving many hearts completely shattered. Growing up, Jekhia loved to sing and dance but, we can’t admit that she was the best at either of those. She was funny, always knew what to say when you needed a good laugh. She was the youngest of 5, and by far the smartest! Jekhia always kept straight As throughout her school years and graduated at the top of her class with an honors diploma. She was so excited for what life had in store for her. Jekhia was filled with hopes and dreams, none that were out of reach for her. She mostly dreamed of becoming a surgeon, she wanted nothing more than to help people. Although her life was cut short at the age of 19, I would say she did indeed help so many of us. She was funny, sweet, kind hearted, and anyone who knew her-even for the shortest amount of time- lost a light in their lives. Jekhia leaves behind her mother, Dawn, twin sister Dhanai, Her older sisters Deja and Jenaira, Her old brother Jalen, Her younger brother Zyher, and an abundance amount of family and friends. To our sweet Jekhia, not a day goes by that you are not on our mind. We miss you more as each day passes. You are and always will be so loved. Until we meet again, rest peacefully.
