Jennifer Cozine

image1Jennifer “Jenn” Joy Cozine, 43, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away June 24, 2015. Jenn was born to Rick and Sandy Thiriot in Oakland, California on August 6, 1971. She resided in San Francisco, California and later in Las Vegas, Nevada where she graduated from Clark High School before receiving her B.A. in Education from UNLV.  She also received her Master’s in Education from NOVA University.  Jenn loved children and taught 1st and 2ndgrade in Las Vegas.  She is survived by her daughter Scarlett Cozine, parents, Rick and Sandy Thiriot, sister, Heather Ocon, and her nieces and nephews, Alexis, Kaylynn, Kole, Hailey, Robbie, and Jackson.  Her true loves in life were her daughter Scarlett, family, friends, teaching, and travel.  She had an amazing smile that made you smile, she will be in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Celebration of Jenn’s life will be held Thursday July 2, 2015 at La Paloma Funeral Services, 5450 Stephanie St. Las Vegas, NV. 89122.  (702) 732-7070 at 10:00 am.  The family asks that you please not wear black and in lieu of flowers please donate to the Jennifer Cozine Memorial fund for Education, with all proceeds going to the schools at which she taught. http://www.gofundme.com/xwhhgs

    Jen was a childhood friend from Kenny Guinn JH..I will remember her big smile and fond childhood memories. Heaven has another angel. Prayers to Scarlett and her family and close friends.

    As former dental patients we knew Dr. and Mrs. Thiriot. May the good Lord help them through this unimaginable sorrow. Our deepest condolence.

    Jennifer my Cousin even though we never saw one another as adults i loved you and you will be missed by all of us. Rest in Peace up there in haven with Grandma and Grandpa

  • Hi, Dr. Rick and Sandy Thiriot! This is, your long ago employee, Lori White, now Lori Graham. I’ve thought about you guy’s, over the year’s and I just wanted to say, “I’m so incredibly sorry, for your loss! I remember working with, Jennifer, from time to time! She was such a sweetheart! I have very fond memories of working for you two!! You two and your dental office, was and always will be the best, by far, that I’ve ever worked for!! Thank you, for that!!
