Jerry C. Quinn
Jerry C. Quinn, age 76, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013. He
He was born in Safford, Arizona to Frank and Maybelle Quinn He lived in Safford all of his growing up life. He has resided in Las Vegas for 46 years. He worked in retail for 15 years, Nevada Power Company for 10 years, and the Department of Corrections for over 20 years and retired from there. Jerry served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1956-1958 in the California Mission. He has served 6 ward and stake missions, as Bishop of the North Las Vegas 20th ward and in the Las Vegas, Nevada Temple. All who knew him loved and respected him.
He is survived by his eternal sweetheart of 54 years, Diana, 6 children, Tammy Ruesch(Kerry), Jerry L. Quinn (Janet), David Quinn(Priscilla),
William Quinn(Maury), Michael Quinn, and Joseph K. Quinn(Juana),18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also his Brother Brent Quinn(Sheila). He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maybelle Quinn and one grandchild, John Lamar Quinn.
Funeral service will be in the Elkhorn Springs Stake Center at 7500 Tule Springs Rd. on Saturday, April 27,2013 at 11:30 A.M.. A viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M prior to the funeral at the Stake Center.
A graveside service will be held in Safford, Arizona on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. in the Safford Cemetery with the Gila Valley and U.S. Army Honor Guard. A viewing will be held at the Vining Funeral Home prior to the graveside service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
