Jesse C Perez Obituary (1949 - 2024)

December 24, 1949 – March 17, 2024 Jesse C. Perez (74) of Summerlin, NV passed away on March 17, 2024 surrounded by his beloved family. Jesse was born in Tamuning, Guam to Jose and Ana Perez on December 24th, 1949. The family left the island and moved to Northern California when he was 14 years old. After graduating from Sunnyvale High School, Jesse enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served as a Weapons Control System Mechanic. While serving in the Air Force in Colorado, he met his wife of 54 years, Louise Perez. Once he completed his time in the service, he and Louise moved back to Sunnyvale, California and raised two children surrounded by a lot of his extended family. He spent the next 30 years working for AT&T in accounting and was also a tax preparer for friends and family. Jesse was an avid Bay Area sports fan and spent much of his spare time cheering on the 49ers, SF Giants, and Warriors. He had a love of music (especially Motown), bowling and golf. Once he moved to Summerlin, NV he became a member of the Guam Las Vegas Golf Club where he made wonderful friendships and served on the board as the Secretary. His favorite thing to do in life was spend time with his family. He loved being a husband, father and grandfather. He was very active in his children and grandchildren’s lives and loved watching them play sports, participate in activities and achieve milestones in their lives. He will be deeply missed by his family. He is survived by his wife, Louise, his son, Jesse (Jill), his daughter, Kim (Mario) and his grandchildren, Julia, Anna, Nicholas and Jacob. He is also survived by his siblings Joseph (Becky), Jim (Doreen). Mary (Peter), Evelyn, Lola, and Mae, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Ana, brothers, Benny and Johnny, and sister, Elizabeth.
