JoAnn Dunn Schlager

JoAnn Dunn Schlager passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28th, 2021 at her home in Las Vegas, Nevada. JoAnn was born on November 12, 1947 in Ogden, Utah, to Richard Kenneth and Wanda Sjoblom Dunn.
JoAnn attended school in the Salt Lake City area, moving to Novato, California in her early teen years, and graduating from Novato High School. She went on to attend Brigham Young University, where she met her future husband, Roger Schlager. They were married on September 6, 1968. She lived in several places during her 52 years of marriage, including California, Washington, Colorado, Missouri, and finally Nevada.
Her most treasured experiences included the opportunity to serve two missions with her husband for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They spent almost two years in the Philippines Quezon City Mission, and another year in the Missouri Independence Mission. JoAnn lived a life of service to others and exemplified the love of Jesus Christ for everyone around her.
She is survived by her husband and her four children, Tamara Larkin (John), John Schlager, Hilevy Koger (Jason), Joshua Schlager (Mara), her Brother Ken Dunn (Janene), her Sister Kathleen Clemens (Mike), and 10 grandchildren.
Burial will be on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Midvale Cemetery in Midvale, Utah.
