Joann Levan
Joann (Cookie) Levan a very loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend with a heart of gold, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday Aug. 3, 2023 at the age of 79. Joann was born to the parents of (late) Joseph and Margaret (Gilardi) Tortoriello on May 10, 1944 and is one of 7 children.
She loved to laugh and enjoy life with her husband Charles and made friends everywhere she went.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Charles Levan and children Mary Pfeiffer (Chris), Cathy, Denise Vaughn, and Charles Jr., 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings Annette Rodriguez (late Eddie), Patricia Cozzi (John), Josephine Garozzo (late George), Margie Petrucelli (Al), William and Michael.
Services and visitation will be held at La Paloma Funeral Home at 5450 Stephanie Street Las Vegas, NV 89122 on Thursday Aug. 17th 2023 at 11 am to 2 pm.
Proceeding the services, burial will follow at Palms Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery at 7600 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas 89123 from 3pm to 4pm.
