Joe J. Rodriguez
Joe J. Rodriguez, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend entered eternal life on March 22, 2020 at the age of 70. Joe was born February 20, 1949 to Paul and Maria Rodriguez and grew up in Denver Colorado.
Joe is survived by his wife Bertha, his son Fabian and two grandchildren Joe and Karen, his brother Clyde, three sisters who are Sally, Genovive, Guadalupe and many nieces/ nephews.
Joe was the core pillar of the family and was a very caring person. Joe irregardless of his situation would always consider others before himself and constantly made personal sacrifices to help everyone in their time of need. He was a very intelligent and knowledgeable man who was wise in his words and actions. If anyone needed good honest solid advice, they would go to Joe for it.
Joe at a young age was diagnosed with Polio and affected his ability to walk, but spending time with him, you would see that it never stopped him. In his earlier years of adulthood he was a member of a motorcycle club which kept him traveling. After settling down and becoming a family man, Joe was very active in taking part of his son’s, nieces and nephews upbringing. He was a role model for them as they went from childhood to adulthood helping them take correct paths towards success. Everyone can remember Joe being there from learning to ride a bicycle to driving a car. He was very fond of going on camping and hunting trips with everyone and always brought great conversation and stories with him. He loved to gather family in the summers and was famous for his B-B-Q and enjoyed taking road trips within the United States/Mexico.
Joe was a special person and a blessing to this family, who will truly be missed and forever in our hearts.
Joe was preceded in death by his father Paul Rodriguez, mother Maria Rodriguez, brother Paul “ Poncho” Rodriguez JR. and sister Angie Chess.
