Jose (Abby) Aurelio Pacheco

Jose (Abby) Aurelio Pacheco was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, Uncle, Godfather, and friend. He was born in San Miguel, New Mexico on 6/26/1945 to Maximiliano and Eufemia Cisneros Pacheco. He grew up with his 13 brothers and sisters in Chama, New Mexico. He dreamed of playing professional baseball and even tried out for the Dodgers. Soon after, he was drafted into the Army and stationed in Germany and Italy from 1965 – 1967. After he left the Army, he met his future wife, Sally Pacheco, in Henderson, NV. He remained in Henderson with his wife and three kids, working as a Chemical Operator at PEPCON and Pioneer. He was married to Sally for 45 years until her death in November 2017. He passed peacefully at home on 7/16/2022. He loved football, basketball, and baseball Was a loyal Raiders fan He enjoyed watching Mash, Star Trek, and Classic Western Movies Enjoyed Oldies and 70’s rock He is preceded in death by his parents: Maximiliano and Eufemia Pacheco; wife: Sally Pacheco; brother Manual Pacheco, sisters: Nellie Pacheco, Dorothy Laland, Verna Carillo, Cecilia Rivas, and Ramona Mares.
