Juanita June (Hollinger) Wyant
Juanita June (Hollinger) Wyant, 93, died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at home in Las Vegas, Nevada, from her long fight with cancer. She was born in Scott Township, Sandusky County, Ohio to the late Carl and Bernice (Seiger) Hollinger on June 25, 1918. She married Frank Willis Wyant on September 1, 1938 and he survives her in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Juanita is also survived by a daughter, Lynne (Tom) Ells, Las Vegas, Nevada; granddaughter Melanie (Cory) Hill, Las Vegas, Nevada; her brothers Herbert (Lois) Hollinger, Kansas, Ohio and Robert (Joyce) Hollinger, Columbus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her brother Albert Hollinger and her sister Wanda Jean Hollinger Baker.
Juanita was small in stature, but mighty in her love of the Lord. She loved attending Bible studies and learning God’s story at Woodbridge Community Church in Irvine, California. She shared that her struggle with cancer was in the Lord’s hands, and he gave her seven more years to share her faith.
Juanita held many different jobs after her daughter attended college. She started in retail and finished her career working for her brother in his insurance office.
She and Frank moved to Tustin, California in 1984 and enjoyed watching her granddaughter grow through her school years and law school. Melanie was her joy. They moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2008 to be close to their daughter and granddaughter.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 25th at 11:00 a.m. at La Paloma Funeral Services, 5450 Stephanie St., Las Vegas, Nevada. In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to Woodbridge Community Church, 5000 Barranca Pkwy., Irvine, California 92604.

Uncle Willy and Lynn I’m sorry to read of Aunt Juanitas passing ,while it has been some time since I last seen Juanita, I remember her as a little lady with alot of spunk and a zest for life to match. Because I am unable to be their to comfort you . I want you to know I love you all. Bert
