June Tolman

June Ruth Edna Buddenhagen TolmanJune Ruth Edna Buddenhagen Tolman, 72 returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 11, 2016.  June was born on November 24, 1943 to Cletus Gerald Buddenhagen and June Mathilda Sorterup in Quincy, Mass.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Cletus Gerald Buddenhagen and June Mathilda Sorterup and her brother, Charles Frederick Buddenhagen. She is survived by her sister, Linda Buddenhagen Smith (Lance) and her children: Tamara Tran (Ly), Victoria Ellington (Larry) Natasha Asay (Seth), Vincent Todd Tolman (Andrea), and Gerald Tyler Tolman (Kate).   As a proud Nana, June would entertain everyone she met with detailed descriptions of her 14 grand-children:  Ryan Ly Tran, Alexa June Tran, Ethan Bishop Ellington, Natalya Asay, Ashlin Asay, Chase Tolman Asay, Sienna Asay, Kaitlin Asay, Lillian Asay, Emma Tolman, Nikayla Tolman, Charles Tolman, Leeya Tolman, Maiya Tolman.   June was married to her sweetheart, Vincent Bruce Tolman on February 14, 1970 in the Manti Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and she remained faithful, hopeful and obedient as she endured to the end through her physical trials.  There will be two funeral services held in her honor.

August 15, 2016: LDS Eagle Canyon Ward: 935 Mercedes Drive, Sparks Nevada at 6:00pm.

August 20, 2016 at 10:00 am at the LDS Hillcrest 8th Ward: 1035 South 800 East, Orem, Utah. A viewing will be held between 9:00am and 9:45am at the ward building prior to the service.

Our beloved Mother will be buried next to her parents at Timpanogos Memorial Gardens, in Orem Utah following the funeral service.

  • I am sorry to hear the passing of Ms.June. May you be comforted by God’s word in John 5:28, 29 and Acts 24:15 that there will be a resurrection to life of all our dear loved ones.
