Kathleen Diane Schreiner
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kathleen Diane Schreiner. Kathy was born on February 18, 1959, and passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 64. She is survived by her children Michael Galindo and Candace Ortiz and her 7 grandchildren. She also leaves behind her loving siblings; including her brother Robert Knight, and sisters Michele Mullins and Rhonda Dix. She is preceded by her late husband of over 15 years Greg Schreiner.
Kathy was born into a close-knit family that moved around due to her Marine Corps father. While born in Milwaukee, WI, many formative years were spent on the windward coast of Hawaii and southern California. Even without formal post-secondary education, Kathy excelled in the field of accounting for many organizations, from large companies to non-profits. Her efforts were often recognized as she became critical to her employers. Not only was her strong work ethic visible to others, but her warmth and kindness also made her lifelong friends and many of these firms.
Kathy will be remembered as a dedicated working single mother of 2. She never wavered in her commitment to providing the best life she could for her children whilst showing them the value of hard work and a loving family. Even though finances were never plentiful for Kathy, it never stopped her from being generous with all that she had to anyone she thought she could help.
Kathy’s legacy will be remembered through the love she shared with so many she came in contact with. Our heartache with the loss of Kathy, a remarkable woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. During this difficult time, let us come together, cherishing the memories we shared and supporting one another.

So sorry about Kathleen. I found a scripture I like to share at JW.org, Acts 24:15, “there is going to be a resurrection,” I wish your family the very best for the future.
