Kent Joseph Egbert

Kent Joseph Egbert (64) was born in Pocatello, Idaho, to George and Carmen Egbert.  He passed away suddenly on March 5th, 2022 in Dublin, Ireland, while working abroad.

Kent spent most of his life traveling the world for his job.  That’s how he met his beloved wife Monica, in Malaysia.  They were married happily for 22 years enjoying many travels around the world together.  When not traveling, Kent and Monica resided in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they had many more adventures.

Kent fathered four really amazing children, Kendra Kraus, Jordan (Lauren) Egbert, Monica (Mitchell) Frasure, and Jacob Egbert, all residing in his hometown.  He was a grandfather to six grandchildren, Kale, Logan, Reagan, Austyn, Maddox, and Lennox.

He is survived by his eight siblings, in no particular order, Bob (Kathy) Egbert, Suzanne (Bob) Johnson, Kathie Fullmer, Janice (Curtis) Johnson, Jeanne (Ed) Roberts, Lea (Rod) Price, Carol (Mike) Dunlop, and Mike (Patricia) Egbert.  He is also survived by his loved Malaysian family.  His Mother-In-Law Lourdes Bedia, Siti Nur and Yundi Bin Suyut, Andrew Bedia and family, Brian Bedia and family, Patrick Bedia and family, Hamzah Bin Abdullah, Siti Zulaikha Binti Abdullah, and Benny Bedia and family.

The family will be celebrating Kent’s life with a memorial service on April 2nd, 2022 at 11:00am at the La Paloma Funeral Home, 5450 Stephanie St., Las Vegas, NV. 89122.  Expressions of sympathy may be made in whichever way(s) you wish, contact Kendra for contributions (kendrak3411@gmail.com).
