Khamma Singharat
Khamma Singharat was the son of Boun and Khoun Singharat and was born on May 1, 1937 in Savannakhet, Lao.Khamma was united in marriage with Kao Thi Hoang on 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Khamma worked in the factory as a laborer until he retired in 2001. He and his wife traveled and lived in different states during their retirement. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Khamma died on Sunday morning, October 15, 2017 at 1:00am peacefully at home. Khamma was preceded in death by his parents, Boun and Khoun Singharat, and 2 brothers and 6 sisters.
Those left to honor Khamma’s memory are his wife, Kao Hoang of Las Vegas; 11 Children: Toan and Kongmee Khounxay of Iowa, Lang and Souriya Tsoi of Las Vegas, Touan Hoang of Las Vegas, Loei Hoang of Las Vegas, Nicki and Greg Borchert of Iowa, Lui and Joe DeFranco of Colorado, Noi and York Khammao of California, Savonne Hoang-Condran of Iowa, Eddie Hoang of Las Vegas, and Oudom Nokham of Georgia. 17 Grandchildren: Larry Khounxay of Iowa, Champaseng Khounxay of Hawaii, Champasouk and Lionel Baldwin of Las Vegas, Oweesong and Ginsong Tsoi of Las Vegas, Tessa Hoang of Iowa, Cecily and Ryan Hoang of Las Vegas, Bailey and Grant Borchert of Iowa, Faith DeFranco of Colorado, Skye Condran of Iowa, Sidney and Edison Hoang of Las Vegas. 5 Great-grandchildren: Malia Johnson, Shayla Khounxay, Jaxon Khounxay, Avery and Aiden Baldwin.
