Phyllis was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a “Granny”. Phyllis loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She would always make her famous banana pudding. Phyllis thought her greatest legacy was her children, grandchildren and all her great-grandchildren.
Phyllis possessed such a contagious smile and feisty yet good and entertaining sense of humor. She could light up a room just with her smile and laughter. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around, will never be forgotten. She will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved her.
