In Sweet Memory of My Loving Son
Remington “Remy” Stafford
My loving son Remington, you have given a mother more than she could have ever imagined or asked for, in Jesus name. I love you so so so much. We will all miss you and cherish your memory, but God almighty has called you home. He told me that I was ready to let you go, and I know that God does not make any mistakes.
Remington was born on September 21st, 1983 in Detroit, MI. Remy was a blessing to all that knew him. He graduated from Bryant High School of Livonia, Michigan in 2001. He was always a quiet spirit that was known for his beautiful loving smile, and being helpful to others. Remington found the Lord at an early age, and was baptized at the age of 19. Remington attended several colleges. He first attended Schoolcraft College of Livonia. Followed by Baker College of Owosso, MI, Central Michigan University, Grand Valley State University, and the University of Nevada LV. Remington only needed one semester to graduate with a B.S. in sports medicine. He always said “mom” I will finish one day”. But, after several years of training, Remington decided to pack up for California, and follow his passion of Mixed Martial Arts, where he had his first professional MMA fight, in 2007. He won! Remington moved to Las Vegas the summer of 2008, were his mom had recently relocated.
Remington had a great love for Music, animals, and had recently adopted a pit bull terrier, affectionately known as “Sox”. Remy also delighted in weight lifting, body building, and fitness his entire life.
