Lee Harry Robertson, Sr.

Lee Harry Robertson, Sr. of Henderson passed away March 4, 2017. He was born May 31, 1936 in Valley Township, PA, to Harry and Rhoda Zipse Robertson. He and his wife moved to Henderson in 1994 after serving a Humanitarian Mission in Romania for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Lee met Patricia Huntley at the US Navy Medical Corps School. They were married in his home town of Downingtown, PA on September 1, 1956. They had 5 children. Lee and Patricia were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, October 22, 1971 and their children were sealed to them.  After his discharge from the Navy, Lee worked at different occupations in several states. He attended college on his G.I. benefits and graduated from BYU in 1974 with a degree in Social Work. He worked in this occupation locally in nursing homes and at St. Rose de Lima Hospital.  Besides their Romanian mission, Lee and Pat served missions in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and locally in the ARP for 4 years. They served in the Las Vegas Temple as temple workers. Lee served in many positions in the church, including Branch President, Stake Executive Secretary, Stake High Councilor, Bishop’s Councilor and Boy Scout Leader.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Mark and Lee Jr. “Robbie” and daughters, Sharon “Roni” and Patricia “Trisha”, as well as 21 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 4 sisters.

He was predeceased by his oldest son, David and his parents.  Lee was a good and honorable man. He will be missed and he was loved. Services will be Saturday, March 11, 2017. Viewing will be from 8:30 – 9:30 am. Funeral services are at 10 am at the LDS Chapel 2091 Wigwam Pwky. Burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 10 :30 a.m.
