Loni Sue Jeppesen
Loni Sue Jeppesen, 49, of Las Vegas, went to heaven Sunday, February 16, 2014, at St. Rose de Lima Hospital. She was born July 17, 1964, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, the daughter of Howard and JoAnn (Ault) Wolden. In 1980 Loni moved with her family from Audubon, Minnesota to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Loni graduated from Clark High School in Las Vegas, Nevada with the class of 1982. While in high school Loni‘s first experience in the workplace began with Kentucky Fried Chicken. After graduating, Loni took great pride in working for Albertson’s. She first began her employment as a cashier, and then later moved into the position of store receiver where her enormous personality and friendly smile was sorely missed by all when she left due to her illness.
Loni was an incredible person and loved spending time with her friends, family and most of all with her children. She was also an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. During the football season you would see her unleash her “purple pride” while cheering her Vikings onto victory. She had a very kind heart and quick wit and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her three children, LaNae, Lia, Garrett and their father Scott Jeppesen; honorary member of the family Josh Stewart; three brothers, Scott (Gina) Wolden of Houston, Texas; Bradley Wolden of Henderson, Nevada; Stuart (Robin) Wolden of Las Vegas, Nevada; and two sisters Lori (Steve) Thomson of Apple Valley, California; and Lisa (Jeff) Gottenborg of Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Loni was preceded in death by her father and mother Howard and JoAnn Wolden.
The relatives and friends of Loni and her children are invited to celebrate her life, funeral services are to be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the LaPaloma Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Gant officiating. Reception to follow at the Gottenborg home.
