Louise Hawley Bechtel

April 28, 1937 – June 23, 2023

Born April 28, 1937 in Annabella, UT to Kenneth Reid and Cleone Roberts Hawley.

She is survived by husband Verl O. Bechtel of Reno, NV and brother Herbert (Connie) Hawley of Saratoga Springs UT.  She is also survived by her children Launa Melody of Nampa, ID, Del Ray (Peggy) Bechtel of Sacramento, CA, Verlene Carver and LeAnn (Ron) Berriesford of Reno, NV and 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Louise Hawley Bechtel age 86 of Reno, NV passed away peacefully in her home on June 23, 2023 with her loving family surrounding her.

Louise was the first president of Relief Society and a compassionate service leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a firm believer in her faith.

There will be a small service in her memory on July 7, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Sun Valley LDS Chapel located at 570 East Fourth Avenue Sun Valley, NV 89433.
