Marilyn Lewis Jones
Marilyn Lewis Jones, 96, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend peacefully passed away on Tuesday, 12 April 2022 in Reno, NV. Born 14 November 1945 in St, Anthony, Idaho to William J. Lewis and Elsie R. Lewis. She attended St. Anthony High School and Ricks College. She married her high school sweetheart, Dean C. Pulley in 1944 and was divorced 25 years later. She married Glen N. Jones in 1977 and was happily married 45 years.
A devoted mother, Marilyn raised 5 children and gained 5 more children. She enjoyed singing in small groups and choirs and fishing, excelled in gardening, canning, embroidering, crocheting, sewing and quilting. Many family members were the recipients of her wonderful handmade creations. She loved doing puzzles and competitively playing board games with family and friends. She loved winning!
She dearly loved her family and is survived by children, Lynette (Ron) McDowell, Sheryl (Stephen) Towers, Gayle (Frank) Sterzinar, David N. Pulley, Judy (Tom) Ford, Glen D. (Jeanne) Jones, Cindy Wharton, Mary Jones, Joe Jones and siblings, Robert (Phylisse) Lewis, Carla Lewis Hicks and Karen Lewis (Mack) Tarwater. She leaves a living legacy of 28 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and
11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glen N. Jones, brother, Bill Lewis, sister Margaret Lewis Ellis, son, Ryan D. Pulley, son-in-law, Bill Wharton and great-grandson, Evan Haddock.
