Nathaniel I Santos Sr
Nathaniel I Santos Sr, age 76 died peacefully on January 28, 2022 in Henderson, Nevada.
Memorial services will be held at La Paloma located at 5450 Stephanie St Las Vegas, Nevada 89122 on Friday – Feb 25, 2022 between 1pm and 5pm. Last sacrament will be officiated by Father Ricardito Saldito at 3pm.
Nathaniel is called by nickname ‘Nat’. He was raised by his loving parents David Esquerra Santos Sr(RIP) and Ester Salonga(RIP) Indiongco Santos. Nat 9 siblings, David Santos Jr, Renato Santos (RIP), Edmundo Santos (RIP), Claro Santos, Marciana Santos Lagasca, Emmanuel Santos(RIP), Arthuro Santos, Elizabeth Santos Cuenco and Ramon Santos.
Nat graduated at MAPA High School in 1963 and was known by his high school friends as a very reserve person. He was also very popular at school.
In 1964, he won the title of Philippine Table Tennis National Champion on both Singles and Doubles event division. He was also proud to be part of the Philippine National Table Tennis Team and thrilled to be part of the FIRST Philippine team sent to Peking, China for National Table Tennis game. He represented the Philippines Team in different National Asian Table Tennis Games and was invited by the United States in one of the Olympic Games.
Nat owned his own business before migrating to the United States. By trade, he was a retired field insurance adjuster for General Motors Insurance and later with Crawford Insurance.
He always enjoyed spending time with his precious wife Fe Esperanza Santos and children Nathalie Santos, Nathaniel Santos Jr, Maxim Santos and Michael Santos together with their families. He is also proud of all his grand children Chanthal Ariane Santos Gehman, John Nathan Santos, Margoux Camille Santos Miravite, Gabriela Monique Santos Miravite, Chelsea Maxine Santos, Christian Maxwell Santos, Mikaela Eliza Santos and Angela Faith Santos and one great grandson Everton Jeffrey Gehman. Nat is also loved by his daugther in-law, Catherine Rockwell Santos, Angelita Blanco Carino Santos, and Joy Sapdin.
Nat also finds excitements going camping, fishing and boating with his family and friends. His favorite song is ‘Always on my mind’.
Nat’s genuine smile, presence and beautiful sets of hair will be missed by all.
