Norma Clara Guenzel Parker Summers

It is always difficult saying goodbye to our loved ones. It’s with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Norma Clara Guenzel Parker Summers of Henderson, Nevada, who passed away at age 86, on November 29, 2022.

Norma was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and was loved by them. She will be missed, but with passing comes peace of mind that she is happy in Heaven with God. And we draw comfort from the knowledge that she is in the loving arms of family and friends who proceeded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Summers, from Henderson, Nevada; her son, Rick Parker (Cindi) of Preston, Idaho; her step-son, John Summers (Carol) of Amarillo, Texas; her sister Lena Lanztch of Georgetown, Texas; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Julius and Anna Guenzel, brother Edwin, sisters Elsie and Edna, and ex husband James Parker.

At her request there will be no services.
