Christine Young Obituary (1952 - 2025)

Christine Louise (Lipold) Young, 72, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Christy was born July 23, 1952, in Trona, California, and was a Las Vegas resident for over 65 years. She had recently retired from a 52 year career as a dental hygienist and planned on focusing her time on her passions, which were her family, her cats, traveling and cooking. Christy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Lou Lipold; and her sister Patrice Jensen. Christy is survived by her brother, Craig Lipold (Chris); her daughters, Regan Mackintosh (Mike) and Tessa Kronbetter (Ryan); and her grandchildren, Sloan and Cole Mackintosh and Harper and Reese Kronbetter. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 21, at La Paloma Funeral Services, 5450 Stephanie Street, Las Vegas, NV, 89122. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the City of Henderson Animal Shelter or Art in the Park, benefitting the Boulder City Hospital Foundation.
