Helene Gregory Hinden

It is with profound sadness that we announce our beloved Helene Gregory Hinden passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on August 13, 2026, at the age of 92, after losing her battle with COPD and lung related issues.
Born on August 9, 1934, in Schenectady, New York, to Gertrude Keller and Earl Partington, she grew up to be a happy child and a very talented dancer and performer and continued her love of the arts all through her life.

Helene spent her life devoted to her dancing, performing and teaching, inspiring students young and old to have confidence, work hard and pursue their dreams. She and her husband, Jon Gregory, worked with many celebrities through the years, instructing, choreographing and producing many shows in New York City, Hollywood and Las Vegas.

She has lived in Las Vegas, NV. with her family since 1970, when she and Jon opened the Jon Gregory Talent Center, training kids, adults and professionals in ballet, tap, jazz and singing and many went on to have performing careers, including their children, Jenna and Chris. The studio would later transform into the Helene Gregory Talent Center where Helene would continue her teaching and coaching for 30 amazing years.

Helene is survived by her daughter, Jenna Gregory Stevenson, and son, Christopher Gregory, granddaughters Cory Armbright and Georgelle Gregory and a list of so many who will miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and first husband, Jon Bushallow Gregory and second husband, Alan Hinden.

A "final curtain call" celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 30th at 3:00pm at La Paloma Funeral Services, 5450 N.Stephanie St., Las Vegas, NV. 89122, with a brief reception to follow.
