Scott Borkin

–

Las Vegas, Nevada

In Loving Memory of Scott
Scott passed away at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas following complications from surgery. He leaves behind a lifetime of service, friendship, family, and memories that will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Scott dedicated his life to serving his country as a career Army medic. He proudly served two tours in Iraq and was a decorated soldier, earning the Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), among other military honors and accolades. His commitment to his fellow soldiers and his country was a defining part of who he was.

Outside of the Army, Scott was known for his loyalty, his friendships, and his unmistakable passion for the Seattle Seahawks. He was especially close to his friends on Team Fireball, who shared countless memories, laughs, and good times with him. Scott's love for the Seahawks was legendary, and during football season, it was almost impossible to end a phone call with him without hearing his enthusiastic and resounding, “GO HAWKS!”

Scott will be deeply missed by his sisters, Carol Soto and MaryBeth Gesell; his brother-in-law, Hance; nieces Brittney and Caitlin; nephew Christopher and his wife Michelle, great-niece Avery Lynn and his ex-wife, Helena, his dear friends, the Kelly’s who were more like family and took Scott under their wing when he moved to Las Vegas. We are forever grateful for you.He will also be remembered and missed by his many friends, fellow soldiers, and all those fortunate enough to have shared a part of his life.

Scott's service to his country, devotion to his family and friends, sense of camaraderie, and passion for the Seahawks will remain part of the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and never forgotten.

GO HAWKS!
