She is predeceased by her parents, brother Michael Guggisberg, sister-in-law Penny Guggisberg and nephew Tim Omann. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Stanfield, children Gale (Jon) Love, Christina (Jason) Davis, Brandon (Rachel) Ham and stepchildren Megan (Joe) Ragan and Steve (Maria) Stanfield. Pat lived a full and adventurous life from moving to California with her girlfriends in the early 1960’s to work at the Hughes Aircraft Company to working at the Pentagon in Washington, DC as an assistant to a defense contractor. While raising her family in La Mirada, CA she worked for the JCPenny Headquarters before she moved to Jacksonville then later St. Augustine, Florida. She had a long career as a paralegal for First Union, Wachovia, and American Enterprise Banks. She met Charles through some mutual friends, where they bonded over their love of beer. Charles and Pat enjoyed many great adventures from traveling to many national parks and countries around the world. One of Pat’s favorite vacations was to Ireland where she bonded with her kinsman, the Murphys, who accepted Pat as one of their own. Pat enjoyed watching a good golf tournament, was the life of the party, a fierce competitor (she was small but mighty), and loved to win. Mom, you won at life. You taught us all how to live our life to the fullest and we will never forget you. All our love, Charles, Gale, Christina, Brandon, Steve, Megan and your grandkids.
