Patricia Patterson

1Patricia “Patty” Patterson, 57, of Pahrump, Nevada passed away in the early hours of Thursday, September 17, 2015 after battling Lung Cancer & COPD. She was born in Alsip, Illinois to Harriet and Thomas Mackey; she was the youngest of five children Thomas, Jeff, John “Jack”, and Lee. She married Gary Patterson in 1979 and they had three children Kellee (Frank), Mike, and Amy (Jeff). After their divorce, she found companionship with Blaine Croft. They relocated from Illinois and resided in Nevada for 9 years. She was a proud grandmother of Nicolas and Addison Prinz. She anticipated the arrival of baby Prinz in February 2016. She had a special place in her heart for her dogs Kasey, Jake and Gabby, and her cat, PITA.

Patty was a tremendous advocate for all animals, though; she had a great fondness for German shepherds and horses. She enjoyed gardening, admiring wildlife, rooting for her beloved Chicago Bears and she took great pride in home improvement. She lived up to her nickname “Mrs. Villa”. She was independent and strong willed; she had a generous heart to those in need. She found tranquility near the ocean or Chicago’s Lake Front. Her memory will be kept alive through all of us and all the lives she touched; forever in our hearts.

Thank you to Infinity Hospice and La Paloma Funeral Services.

Please celebrate Patty’s life by sharing a memory or tidbit. Memorial donations may be made to http://wildhorserescue.org/ or http://www.lungcanceralliance.org/

  • I only met Patty one time, I remember her being a very happy person and I could not believe her wit, she could hold her own with the best of them.
Even though we spent little time together I could tell she was a caring and loving person.
Her and my brother loved each other dearly, and it breaks my heart knowing that all of you are hurting.

I’m sorry for all your loss.
