Rasheed Allenton

Our dear brother’s heart just couldn’t sustain him anymore and on April 26, 2023, Rasheed ‘Rocky’ Allenton was taken home. He was preceded to glory by his parents Hobart Phelps and Judi McGee. Rocky loved music, driving, computers, the Raiders and above all, family. He is survived by his six sisters Susan, Tanya, Patricia, Renee, Diane and Sherry. He also leaves numerous uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews and dear friends. The room will seem empty without his Big Personality.

Sitting here remembering you Uncle. Your laughter, your smile, your playfullness. You were quite the comedian always making us laugh and bringing nothing but joy to everyone you meet. There will always be a void now that you’re gone and our family get togethers will never be the same. But what will always give me comfort is knowing you are watching over us and you are up there with Jesus. I will always love you Uncle Rocky and miss you dearly. No words can express how honored and blessed I am to have you as my uncle.

I love you more than anything that I can type. I am trying so hard to deal with this brother but it is extremely hard. I told you it was okay to go but I didn’t think you really would. Man, I miss you, I miss our weekly talks, I miss the videos you would send me, I miss your voice, the visits. I just miss YOU!!!! My hope is in Christ Jesus and I know I will see you again. Rest in the arms of our Savior baby brother. I love you forever!

We will miss you forever my dear nephew. I am so sorry that we didn’t spend more time together through the years but I have always loved and thought about you. You are now with my beautiful sister and your mama. May you both celebrate together and rest in peace

Uncle. Today we celebrate You and send you on to glory and we are not worried because we know you are in the best hands. Life will never be the same without you but I am beyond thankful for the time that I got to spend with you. You may have not known but your presence enriched our lives in so many ways and boy do we feel the void of you being gone but you will always be in our hearts and will always be loved and missed. R.I.P Uncle.
