Ray LaPorte
Ray LaPorte was Born March 29, 1939. After a short battle with cancer, Ray LaPorte lost his life on May 19th. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Kathy, his son Dan, and three of his four sisters.
Ray loved flying model airplanes, carving carousel animals, playing video poker, playing golf, and anything he could fix with his hands. He learned to install draperies as a young man in his parent’s shop, which led to a long career in draperies and flooring. Ray spent two years in the Army and always claimed it was the best thing he ever did. He was born in Canada and became a U.S. Citizen and was very patriotic. Ray knew more about U.S. History than most.
Services will be held on June 1st at 2:00pm at LaPaloma, 5450 Stephanie St., Las Vegas, NV 89122.
