Richard (Dick) Neil Krafve

Richard (Dick) Neil Krafve was born Oct 30, 1939 in Wisconsin. He grew up in Michigan and then ventured off living in Colorado, Hawaii, California, and finally landing in Las Vegas. He was an avid boater and spent a lot of his time on one lake or another. He was a sport hunter and traveled the world to pursue his passion. Dick was very involved in the Kiwanis Club of Las Vegas. He was an avid bridge player and played with a Kiwanis bridge group for 30 years.  Through the Kiwanis club, Dick was very involved in the Varsity Quiz program in conjunction with the Clark County School District. He volunteered his time to the VQ program for over 30 years.  He only retired from his position as head judge and scorekeeper when he was unable to leave his bed. He was inducted into the Varsity Quiz Hall of Fame and the CCSD Excellence in Education Hall of Fame for his many years of service. He is survived by two nieces and a nephew.
